What does Dynamite Data do?
Dynamite Data is a research company that monitors and distributes pricing and other information for e-commerce customers. Our goal is to eventually track the entire online marketplace.

Our Firefox plugin displays the lowest price for the product you're viewing as you surf. Please check out our demo video.

Where can I download the Add-on?
You can get the latest version of the Add-on via our downloads page, or via the Mozilla Add-on Portal.

 

How to I install the Dynamite Data Add-on?
Installation is easy. Just click here in Firefox. The browser will then prompt you to install. Once you hit OK and restart your browser, the plugin will be fully functional.

 

How does the Add-on mantain my privacy?
Dynamite Data takes your privacy very seriously. We take great care to make sure your personal data is protected. Please view our privacy policy for more information.

 

How do I know if a website is supported by the Dynamite Data Add-on?
The Add-on logo will appear bright red when it's on a website that it recognizes. It remains grayed out for website it does not support. You can view a subset of our full list of supported merchants here.

 

What browsers does the Dynamite Data Add-on work with?
Our Add-on currently supports Firefox, we will be adding a Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 add-on soon.

 

Why doesn't the Add-on work when I'm on a merchant's home page?
Dynamite Data Add-on only displays competitive pricing information for a single product pages. A merchant home page typically has multiple products. To view competitive pricing information, click a product on the merchant home page to visit the product buy page.

 

There's something wrong with my Add-on, who can I get in touch with?
The Add-on includes a contact and bug submission report inside the Options screen. Please feel free to contact us via our contact page as well.

Dynamite Data is currently available with Firefox 3.x only.


Mozilla's Firefox contains a rudimentary framework for interacting with our enterprise application layer. We provide this data free of charge, though the extension can only read a small subset of the data available to our subscription clients. In the spirit of the Mozilla Foundation's efforts, and in conjunction with the mature Mozilla Add Ons Portal, Firefox became the obvious choice for us to launch our end-user service.
